Meet Your Accountant

Female Northampton Accountant

Hi, I'm Emily - The founder of Ludar Accountants

The idea of my career started back when I was a teenager, and my mum suggested I become an Accountant. I’ve always been a numbers girl, I was adamant I wanted to work for myself and I liked to be in charge (a boss or maybe just bossy).

Normally, as teenagers do, they don’t listen to their mum… but this time, I listened... I graduated with a First Class degree in Accounting and Finance in 2017 and became a qualified Accountant in 2020.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of individuals and businesses, from fresh startups to established companies turning over seven figures.

My Approach & Philosophy

Over the past 8 years working in practice, I’ve witnessed incredible journeys - people turning side hustles into thriving businesses, employing teams and surpassing £1 million in sales. How can you not be inspired by that?

It’s experiences like these that have shaped how I work today. I genuinely believe that no two businesses are the same and neither are their financial needs. That’s why I offer bespoke, personalised accounting services that go beyond the numbers.

Whether you need practical support, strategic advice, or just someone to cheer you on, I’m here for all of it.

Not just your Accountant - I’m your Therapist, Cheerleader & Friend

I’m here to take the stress out of your finances so you can focus on building your business and enjoying your optimum work/life balance. And I believe knowledge is power, so I’m going to help you understand your numbers and how you can use this information to further your success.

I’m especially passionate about supporting new businesses - particularly being a female business owner myself, the female founders, the mums juggling family life with side hustles, and the girls who are out here doing it for themselves. If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place.

Let’s grow your business together.
